Welcome to Wadi Rum, the legendary desert of Jordan — also known as the Valley of the Moon. Its unique landscapes, red sand dunes, majestic rock formations, and rich history make it a must-visit destination for every traveller. Here’s what makes us different:
Best Time to Visit – Early morning and late afternoon provide the most pleasant temperatures and stunning light for photography.
Clothing – Lightweight, breathable clothing for the day and warmer layers for the evening. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for hiking and exploring.
Sun Protection – Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended due to strong desert sunlight.
Hydration – Always carry water; our activities provide bottled water, but having your own is advisable.
Respect Local Culture – Wadi Rum is home to the Bedouin community — dress modestly and be respectful of local traditions.
Safety – Children under 6 are not allowed on certain activities for safety reasons (e.g. Um ad Dami climb).
Photography – Sunrise and sunset offer the most dramatic and colourful landscapes — perfect for photos.
Star Gazing – Unlike other camps, you can enjoy the stars right in front of your bubble tent without booking any activity.
