With my family we enjoyed what I would say was one of the best times of our lives. I am back home at my work-study routine and I find myself daydreaming to return to their peaceful camp at Wadi Rum. The sunrise, the hospitality, the warmth of the people working at the camp is what I remember the most. The sound of the silence at the remote camp is unlike anything I experienced before. I relaxed more than I knew possible and had so much fun on the jeep ride that was organized by Eid and his nephew Motaz. Motaz was so friendly and drove us around all of Wadi Rum. Sayed made us delicious food and made sure we ate well. Eid was awesome to talk with. At the camp there is hot water, heat for the winter and air conditioning for the summer. They really know what they're doing here and they really make a home for you in the desert! I want to go back already! Thank you Eid, Motaz and Sayed!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Wild Oryx Camp in Wadi Rum recently, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. From the breathtaking landscapes of the desert to the warmth and hospitality of the host Eid, everything was exceptional.Eid and his family truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with genuine kindness and enthusiasm. His nephew Mutaz gave us an excellent tour of the desert, taking us from spots to spots to get the best view of the sprawling landscape. We watched the sunset at a remote location where he arranged to light up fire and made tea for us. Syed prepared an excellent dinner for us and took care of anything we needed during our stay. Eid's camp consists of only 4 bubble/tents and is located in the middle of the desert, far away from the other camps- this made the experience even more fascinating. If you are looking for an unforgettable stay in Wadi Rum, I cannot recomment this camp enough. The stunning desert scenery is reason enough to vist, but the hospitality of Eid truly sets this place apart. We left feeling like we had made a friend and can't wait to return someday!

Wadi Rum was amazing & staying in Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles made it more memorable & interesting. Really liked the location as the camp it was more private & only have four lovely tents, so there is zero light pollution from nearby larger camps- so the star gazing was amazing. Would highly recommend staying here, as they also offer tours and other experiences such as camel-riding (additional costs).Eid was a wonderful host, who went above and beyond. He treats every guest as a family member. Thankful for his kindness. His nephew, Motaz & other staff were very friendly. They served delicious food for dinner & breakfast as well.

Boutique camp with 4 bubble tents (making it very comfortable and special), very friendly and helpful staff, isolated and beautiful location, tasty home cooking. I would return to this camp because of the great people working there - Eid, Saeed, Mohtaz! We had a temporary issue with our rented car and Eid called the rental service and helped us with everything! We felt at home. Thank you from the whole family!

I booked a martian bubble tent for me and my cousin at Wild Oryx Camp for my pre-birthday celebration and I couldn't be any luckier to meet the friendly and accommodating staff headed by Eid! Eid has been so nice from the day we started communicating and the experience was nothing short of incredible! We loved how isolated the camp was from all the other big camps. It made the stay more peaceful and just amazing. The view from the bubble tent was beyond beautiful especially at dusk and at night! We also loved the food and the way they made us feel comfortable for our entire stay. They even bought us manakeesh aside from the free breakfast before checking out. We greatly appreciate Eid, his nephew and the cook (I forgot their names T_T) for giving us a one-of-a-kind Wadi Rum Bedouin experience! We hope to come back again and stay at Wild Oryx. May God bless you and your team abundantly, Eid!

Wadi Rum is already amazing but staying at Wild Oryx made it even more fantastic! It is located in a very quiet location, away from other camps, which made it perfect for star gazing in the evening. Eid was very accommodating and kind. He treats every guest as a family member. He went over and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay.

Hesitant at first to not have accommodation IN the reserve, Wild Oryx Camp turned out to be perfect. In the reserve the camps are often huge and next to each other. The remote location and incredible setting of the Wild Oryx is exactly what makes it so special! And the small size of the camp makes it possible to receive just the right amount of personal attention. In an absolutely stunning location with a beautiful view, waking up and watching sunrise from bed in our comfortable bubble was magic.Eid was very welcoming and made sure we are comfortable in every way possible. He gave excellent advise to optimise our short time there. His nephew, Motaz, took us out for the day and did an excellent job of making sure we see all the tourist highlights, and some lovely lesser-known areas.Thank you guys! Wadi Rum is a very special place. And you made it extraordinary.

We were a little afraid that we would regret not sleeping in the Wadi Rum reserve itself, given that the Wild Oryx camp is quite remote in the northern part of the desert, but that's actually all that makes this camp so charming . With only 4 tents, and almost no camps nearby, you really feel like you're on another planet. The view offered by the "bubble" tents is also magnificent, and we were able to admire the sunrise over the rocky belt directly from our bed, magical! Eid is very welcoming and gives good advice on organizing excursions. When we arrived, Motaz first took us to the back of the camp to watch the sunset. We were then able to enjoy a hearty dinner and a good night's sleep, the tents are spacious and comfortable. The next day, we met Motaz for a full day excursion in the desert, he was able to lead us safely to the most "famous" places in Wadi Rum but also took us to more remote corners. We were really able to make the most of the short stay we had in Wadim Rum to discover the beauty of this region, thanks to Eid and Motaz

Based on the reviews we booked a night in this property and we couldn't have made a better choice. Welcomed by Eid, who manages the camp, we immediately felt at ease. The structure is in a perfect location, the bubble has all the services and comforts you need, clean and spacious. The dinner was formidable, perhaps the best on our Jordanian road trip. The Jeep ride in the beautiful Wadi Rum desert was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Where do I start, from the moment we met Eid (the owner) our time at his camp was perfection! We stayed two nights. We came in later in the day, he picked us up and greeted us himself, which we were impressed with and he first took us to the local grocer to get some snacks drinks which we greatly appreciated after our long journey from the Dead Sea.We then drove from the town to the camp, we really liked the location as Eid’s camp it is more private/exclusive being that there are four luxury tents, so there is zero light pollution from nearby larger camps- so the star gazing was amazing, we had so much fun the first night taking photos of the stars. We arrived after Eid took us to see our first beautiful Wadi Rum sunset right as other guests arrived back from their day activities. Then the dinner, there was so much amazing and delicious food!! The chef is wonderful. We started with tea outside and then sat for dinner, was a great experience getting to taste local flavors and try their version of other international dishes, one night they had spaghetti which they cook for an hour and we generally cook for 8 min ha, have to say theirs was 10/10!Our room was large, even had an upholstered twin bed on the side which we did not use, the view at night and the sunrise was amazing, just go to sleep with your curtains open you will see.We had booked a jeep and camel ride with our travel agent, but the logistics and timing did not make sense to make the most of our time in the desert.Even though it was the night before Eid accommodated us to do a 6 hour private Jeep tour and a private camel tour the next day which allowed us to make the most of our time. Motaz, Eid’s nephew did our private jeep tour and it was one of our favorite things we did on our entire trip in Jordan, it is honestly indescribable, like nothing we had ever seen or done before. A highlight of all my trips over the years not to be forgotten. We were the only guests the second evening and still an amazing spread of delicious food. We had an early flight out of the Aqaba airport so we needed to leave at 4:30 and again Eid and Motaz made it happen, we left giving hugs such an all around great experience!

Amazing experience, amazing location. Although it was full-moon on the days we were there, we still had a wonderful star-gazing experience after the sunset and before the moon rose. The camp is secluded, so there were no lights visible from anywhere else. It was comfortable for 3 of us in one tent. We visited in August, and the air-conditioning offered good relief from the heat. We enjoyed the abundant and delicious meals prepared for us. Would highly recommend staying here, as they also offer tours and other experiences such as camel-riding (additional costs), which we thoroughly enjoyed.Eid is a wonderful host, who went above and beyond. We are thankful for his kindness.

Eid is an absolutely wonderful, kind and gracious host. His camp is one of the very few that is set apart from the other camps and main road - it’s a perfect location and very small with only 4 tents. This means there is no light pollution or noise pollution and you can see the stars perfectly. He was also incredibly flexible with check in/check out and included everything in the booking price (all meals, water, wifi, transport to and from camp). The meals were all fresh cooked and really lovely! He offered several tour options for a very reasonable cost (jeep tours, camel rides) and walks you through in detail to help you choose what makes sense. We felt so lucky to have found this camp. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting wadi rum. It’s a family run operation and the perfect way to experience the desert

My family loved our trip to Wild Oryx! This is my second time bringing my kids to Wadi Rum (ages 7 and 9) and we all agree this was by far our favorite. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and made it a special experience for the kids. The “bubble house” was comfortable and we loved seeing stars from our bubble at night and watching the sunrise from our beds in the morning. They arranged for a morning camel ride and jeep trip around Wadi Rum and we had a wonderful time - even on what turned out to be the hottest day of the summer because they stacked the jeep with plenty of cold drinks and made sure we got enough shade. I would highly recommend and hope to come back.
